Blessings!

PTL to all those that are reading this now. First off, we would like to thank you for supporting us in all that you do. We believe that your support in reading this, networking with others about us and even interceding for us goes further than in dollar amount. We really want to thank all of the intercessors out there for praying for our ministry. Some of you may know this and some not, but Steve is in the full-time ministry now...Praise God; but we don't want to stop there. We are praying that Kiki will also be giving in her two week notice so that they both will pursue the ministry full-time. So please continue to pray that God will show himself strong in this critical yet transitional period that we are going through. Enjoy the newsletter!

For those that mime, have you ever experienced running paint after you have mimed or during? Do you feel that your face paint could have a more professional look? Well, if you have said yes to both/either of the questions you should try using Ben Nye Powder. Ben Nye powder gives your face paint a long durability as well as a professional look. Sometimes, when you are that hot stage sweating and giving God your everything the face paint tends to melt. The powder will help the paint stick better. We usually use the powder right before we put on face paint as well as right after we put on face paint.

PLT, the following message is taken from my book: Developing the Heart of a God Pleaser:

Click Here to Get Developing the Heart of A God Pleaser, Chapter One.
The hardest part about humility is facing the pride in the situation with a fleshly attitude, yet using the spirit to control your actions.

"Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content. I know both how to be abased, and I know how to abound: every where and in all things I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need."
Phillippians 4:11-12 KJV

Paul was basically saying that in all my trials, tribulations and everyday test, I've learned when to put up a fight (warring in the spirit) and when to shut up (to prevent warring in the flesh). Case in point, choose your battles wisely.
This section is devoted to giving tips and strats to those that feel they could us them. This months tip is about using uniqueness. In this 22nd century gospel mime, as well as praise dancing has really become a rush within the Gospel Music platform. You can bet that within every state there has to be at least 3-4 independent mime ministries and over 10 church affiliated mime ministries. There seems to be take over of mime ministries all over the world! And just image mime started with the guy we all know named Thedis in 325 A.D. According to most historians he was the first hypocrite to take the stage and act out words of an old hymn, sung by an Greek all male choir to honor their Greek gods. Mime has truly came a long way since then.

The thing we love about mime is getting a chance to see so many different types of mime ministries with various styles. We've seen groups that like to mime with "pop-and-lock", mime to fast songs, mime to poetry, mime with half black & white faces, with sneakers, socks, colorful robes, fatigues, suspenders and even bow ties. The diversity is wonderful because it lets us know that we are using our creativity and thinking outside of the box! That's what sets the tone for mime ministries. Actually, that's what sets the tone for ministry period. If you look at your hand, you will notice that it is different from any other hand. God created you uniquely to be you and not anybody else. Your uniqueness is not a weakness; it is what separates you from everybody else. With anything you do for the glory of God do it being confident of the God in you. Trust the leading of the Spirit in every song that you interrupt because you never know whose life you will touch or even change. T.D. Jakes once said, "the sum is greater than its parts". Sum up every unique movement that you make to bring forth a master piece that is pleasing to God. Covenant Mime Ministry changes you today (if you have not already do so) to be unique and think outside of the box. Get your mime ministry together (or if your solo get your thoughts together) and work as a team. Remember that there is no "BIG I's" and little u's". We all make up a team for one purpose and that is to edify the people of God through glorifying God.
